The Verdict...

8.12pm, 3 minutes to end work,
"Hello... Kerr... I reach your office downstairs liao..."

My buddy was kind enough to collect my car for me and fetch me from work! I logged off my systems the moment the clock showed 8.15pm and rushed down to the lobby, couldn't wait to try my new settings...

The Following Day...

I could not really sleep that night, I was excited yet worried. Although I was already prepared to have a fully done-up gearbox, I still wanted to know what Joker has to say about my gearbox, what were the parts damaged and also, wanted to know how long would she be hospitalized for... One day? Two days? Three???

* RING * RING *

At last! It was Joker who was calling, what were hours in the office seemed like days! Her clutch was broken... Even the hard-to-come-out spring from the organic clutch set had came out... That was the reason why not a single gear could be engaged...

The Towing...

Oh well, luckily for me, my mum was a member of the Automobile Association of Singapore, I had my car towed for free to my mechanic's door step...

I drove my Mazda 6 and led the tow truck to where she took her day off, in front of the closed doors of JMotowerkz...

After throwing my car key through the gaps of the doors, I spent a minute or two looking at her, worrying on the expense needed to recover her health and her recovery rate...

I sped off home, leaving her alone in the industrial estate...

Midnight Horror...

My girlfriend had a delayed flight and returned home from work pretty late that night.. I parted my friends at Haji Lane and met her at her place to fetch her and went back to my shisha sessions with my friends...

After an hour or so, we went to Fengshan 85 for its relatively renown Ba Chor Mee and then left the place around 2am because my girlfriend had to fly off to Zurich the very next morning.

I sped her home, tucked her into bed and left for home.

Just right at the traffic light outside my home, my nightmare occurred! My gearbox jammed on me! I could not engage into the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th gear! My clutch had broken..

I spent 15 minutes trying to maneuver the car back up onto the curb outside my house and sat in my car in emptiness... Wondering how much my repair cost was going to be, or was it going to be a fully done up gearbox for her... The choice was clear...

I dragged myself out of the car and not long after, I am on MSN chatting with my mechanic..

"Bro... my car got problem..."
"My gear cannot engage..."
